how does your rib rub differ from your butt rub...or does it?....I've been using the same rubs for both, but after reading other forums it seems that the more experiened folks might use different rubs....I am quite satisfied with my barbecue, but my ribs need some improvement...any help is appreciated!

Maybe that is my problem...I use the same rub for both. We've done great in ribs, but I definitely need work in pork.

Go with what you like.

My butt rub has more sugar.

My rib rub has more paprika.

My chicken rub has less paprika and less sugar.
