What is the straight dope on the new Tailgator? Just read about it on the BBQ Forum. Thanks. Gary

Fireball, the Tailgator is very similar to the Fatboy. It's a bit heavier. The racks measure 18X24 instead of 19.5X19.5. The racks are expanded metal with a angle iron framing instead of chrome wire racks. Mike.

Hello Gary,

Welcome to the forum and you're just gonna have to turn loose of some of those dollars and get yourself a Backwoods cooker.

I have a new model and will be bringing it to the Marshalltown, Ia contest in late June and since you and I will be cooking together, you can run it all night while I party. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Are you bringing an upgraded party? With the 6 hour burn time I will be sleeping, you will be parting, and Mike will be tending the fire. Is it June yet?

Gary,

You rekon we can do a contest without 6 inces of rain? I will be bringing a fully tricked out upgraded Backwoods Party. Probably bring another cooker for the Friday evening party.

Just one month from today for our first contest in Missouri.

Dave

Is that tricked out Party, tricked out with all the goodies listed on the party's page on this site? Yes, I can do without 6 more inches of rain. A little cooler also would be nice.
