Anyone have a cover? I'll be transporting my Party to a few comps this summer on a ulitity trailer and I'd like to find something to cover it to give it a little protection. The manufacture's covers are $40, are they thick and well constructed what I won't have rips and tears after 100 miles of highways wind beating on it?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for alternative covers? Tarps, blankets, etc...

I like the covers from Backwoods and have them for all my cookers.

I don't use my cover for trans. I do have an enclosed trailer..
I wrap it with moving blankets.. but I do have the BWS cover and they are well made ...take an old tennis ball and poke a hole in it and pot on you exhaust stack lever this will keep from poking a hole in the cover and it makes people ask what that for?

The backwoods covers are great but I wouldn't use them while driving. The wind whipping the cover going down the road will wear your paint off.

Don't use it while driving down the road. They will tear up pretty quick.

Just picked up a Party and love it. I would like to keep this covered as it does not have the SS doors and assume that the weather will take its toll on the smoker. I read one forum thread from a year or two ago and saw the cover price mentioned at $40. Now it $53!! Come on we have all paid a premium for a premium cooker and done it gladly. But $53 for a cover is a bit high, especially considering that appears to be 25%+ increase over a year or so ago. Are there other covers on the market that fit the Party at a more reasonable price?

Not trying to be too cheap and picky here, just trying to save a little money for meat to smoke...
