New to Backwoods Smokers

Postby Fatboys Barbeque » Thu Apr 26, 2012 10:46 am

Hello from Fatboy's Barbeque in Greenville SC. I have just picked up a Backwoods Pro from a fellow competitor. Can't wait to fire it up and take it for a test run. We are looking to have this big boy mounted on a trailer so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Trying to come up the perfect design for competitions as well as catering jobs.

Welcome to the forum. Search is your friend here. If you haven't had or used a BWS before search for Old Dave's posts.. They are an excellent source of information.

It's going to depend entirely on the size of the trailer you're mounting it on. Open or closed, walk-on or walk around? Room for sinks, refrigerator, etc especially for catering.

I just finished mounting a Competitor and a Chubby on my 4x8 trailer for competition - I need to take some pictures...
