Rust inside party

Have a BWS party and the inside has a couple of rust spots and paint is chipping off. Any one experience this? The cooker is not even a yr old.

By inside, do you mean the inside of the smoker? or the inside edge of the door? I can't say for sure, but 99.9% sure that the inside of the smoker is not painted. I would not want it painted, I would not want the residues and other bad volatiles that come out of paint to be tainting my food. My Chubby does not have any paint on the inside of the smoker. Now I had a little bit of paint that was peeling on the very inside edge of the doors. I have taken a little bit of sand paper cleaned it up and shot some black high temp paint on it.
