I am looking for a new cooker now that a moving company has messed up my party. I see alot of people talking about the extended party. What is the difference between that and the party model?

It's deeper than a regular Party. I'm not sure how much, but 4-5" I think. It's enough of a difference that a side of ribs will fit front to back instead of diagonally.
The other difference is that the cooking grates are made of expanded metal as opposed to stainless cooking racks. I believe that's a function of not selling enough of them to warrant commissioning stainless racks to be built.
Good luck!
Cheers,
