Hi everyone I am fairly new to this site and to cooking on a backwoods smoker. I am head cook and owner of my team Spanky's Meat. I am from Hot Springs, AR and we are trying to get into the competition circuit. I have been BBQ'n since 92 with my father some of you may know him as SARGE. I cooked on our BWS competitor at the Rib Rally on the River on Sept 19th and 20th as my first cookoff by myself. I won 1st Ribs and 6th overall, and 3rd sauce out of 22 teams. We plan on cooking as many events close to home as we can throughout the rest of this year and next. Look foreward to seeing you all out there.
