Casters

Postby doctordun » Mon Jul 09, 2012 8:14 pm

Plan on getting a Fatboy and add casters of my own.
Is the Fatboy already drilled and tapped for casters and if so, what size holes and hole pattern( dimensions between holes )

Northern Tools has some Flat-Free Casters. Has anyone tried these and what would be the largest size to get? I need to move this over uneven ground.
Their 10inch have these dimensions:
Top Plate Dimensions L x W (in.)
4 1/2 x 4
Bolt Hole Spacing
3 3/8 x 2 7/8

Doc, all the smokers are drilled for casters. They are drilled for the standard size casters. Check the older post about casters for a Fatboy, viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3944&p=10928&hilit=Casters#p10928
You will have to get some bolts, washers, and nuts to bolt the casters on.

Doc,
I added casters to my Party. Bought them at Harbor Freight. I suggest you take a piece of cardboard and a pencil and make a template of the pre-drilled castor holes. Then you can check out local options and make sure they fit.
