Hyde Setter is an extra air flow pipe and damper that runs from the fire box through the water pan to the cooking chamber. Thus allowing for more direct heat if the cook so desires.
Tell us more about "Thermostatic temp control ( my design)" that def got my attention!

The temp control is a design I started putting on my cookers about 15 years ago. My first few used a small industrial fan. This one uses a bbq guru fan so it can run on 12 volts. The thermostat is a GE oven unit.
