Replacing our former low end model, The Patio, the Chubby is created to give the backyard BBQ cook even more room and versatility in their cooking.
The Backwoods Smoker Chubby can easily be converted into a grill or a BBQ pit by simply removing the stainless water pan. It has 4 racks 16 1/2 x 15 1/2 inches and comes with two extra sliders for more fliexible arrangement of your meat. The cooking compartment is 13 inches high, 17 inches deep and 16 inches wide. The fire box is 2 inches high, 18 inches deep and 16 inches wide. the charcoal pan is designed to hold approximatley 10 pounds of briquettes comfortably. It is designed with an expanded metal bottom that allows the ashes to fall through into an ash pan for easy cleaning. Depending o nthe temperature you cook at, the Chubby can give you an 8 to 10 burn. It will hold 12 slabs of baby back ribs, 8 slabs of St. Louis style or 4 slabs of spare ribs. The Chubby will also hold 2-3 large briskets or 4-6 Boston Butts. The Chubby weighs in at a hefty 115 lbs.
The Chubby is compatible with the guru. Auto water and Gas are NOT available with this unit. Convection may be added for an extra price. Please call to find out how much.
